Festivals Acadiens et Creoles, the world’s largest cajun/creole festival,  is from Thursday, October 7 - Sunday, October 11 and features music, fine arts and crafts, the Bayou Food Festival,  chef demonstrations and much more. Read More: Festivals Acadiens et Creoles. |

Additionally, A “tintamarre,” or procession of marchers wearing costumes and masks, will wind its way through the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus on Friday, Oct. 9 as part of Festivals Acadiens et Creoles.
