This Weekend Around Lafayette – March 14 – 16, 2014

It's almost Spring! Time to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather. Here are our picks for fun things to do this weekend, March 14 - 16, 2014:

The Erath Firefighters' Chili Cook-off is Friday at Quality Sports Authority and RV Park from 5 - 8 PM.

Saturday brings the 11th Annual St. Jude Motorcycle Ride and Buzzardville Boucherie at the Carencro Community center. It begins at 7:30 AM.  At New Iberia City Park, you can visit the Festival of Live Oaks and Barbecue Cook-off beginning at 9 AM. Then head over to Parc International when the gates open at 5 PM for Patty in the Parc.

On Sunday, the Mire Volunteer Fire Department Annual Fundraiser takes place at Outer Limits from 8:30 AM - 6 PM, and the Dance to Cure Cancer, a Relay for Life fundraiser, goes from 11 AM- 9 PM at Whiskey River Landing in Henderson.
