This Is The Hottest Toy Of The 2016 Holiday Season

Forget the latest edition of the X Box or the PlayStation or even the new Nintendo that lets you play all the old games. This year's hottest toy is something I could probably get from someone in Judice for free and could even make into a gumbo later.

Hatchimals are large eggs that have to be cared for in just the right way so that the electronic stuffed animal inside will hatch 'safely.' Once hatched, the animal inside interacts with its 'parent,' and is as sensitive and finicky as any real newborn.

Think of those baby dolls that have to be rocked, fed, burped, and even changed. Except instead of a baby, it's a strange animal that makes lots of noise and even has flashing lights. This is the kind of toy your kids will love and you'll be spiking the eggnog over.

Unless of course you don't want to pay the crazy prices Hatchimals are already going for on eBay. Most have starting bids at $100, with others going for over $200 with 'buy it now.'

Maybe you can sell last year's hottest toy and use that money to buy a Hatchimal?
