Things You Need To Know Before Going To Memphis With CJ

It's getting close Elvis fans!  We leave this Wednesday morning for the 'Ultimate VIP Christmas Lighting of Graceland With CJ Holiday Exclusive'.  We will have a blast!  Private tours, Beale St., the new Elvis Entertainment Complex, Graceland, Sun Studios, the new Elvis Presley hotel, Graceland Christmas lighting ceremony, we will do it ALL!

To make sure our trip goes smoothly, Travel Machine has put together an itinerary with important information concerning our trip.

Light Jacket, blanket and neck pillow (bus can get cold)

Rain poncho (Memphis forecast predicting rain)

Books and magazines (mainly for bus ride)

Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes

Remember your phone chargers and other electronic devices

Gratuity for bus driver (optional)

Day 1 Wednesday, November 15

10:30AM  Arrive at Single Source Supply

11:00AM  Depart by motor-coach for Memphis (bathroom breaks every 2 hours)

5:00PM  Dinner in Tunica, Mississippi

8:00PM  Arrive at Guest House at Graceland Hotel (hotel phone number 901-443-3000)

Day 2 Thursday, November 16

7:30AM  Breakfast at hotel (provided)

8:45AM  Depart hotel to Graceland for Ultimate VIP Tours

9:00AM  Graceland VIP Tour with personal tour guide (in groups), tour Elvis' Custom Jets,

             Graceland Archives Show and Tell session, Elvis Presley's Memphis

             Entertainment Complex, Lunch (provided), Presley Motors Automobile

             Museum, Elvis: The Entertainer Museum and Elvis Discovery Exhibits

6:00PM  Graceland Christmas Lights Ceremony (Graceland still hasn't announced the special guests yet)

Day 3 Friday, November 17

8:30AM  Breakfast at hotel (provided)

10:00AM  Peabody Hotel to visit 'The Peabody Memphis Ducks'

11:45AM  Lunch (on your own)

1:20AM  Sun Studio Tour

3:00PM  Stax Museum of American Soul Music Tour

5:30PM  Beale Street Bar Crawl (drinks included)

7:30PM  Dinner on Beale St. (on your own)

9:30PM  Bus returns to Guest House at Graceland Hotel

Day 4 Saturday, November 18

10:00AM  Hotel checkout and bus boarding for Lafayette

Thank you to everyone who booked this unbelievable Memphis trip with me.  My apologies to everyone who was booked on the second bus which was canceled due to Graceland not being able to accommodate two full buses.  If someone on the first bus cancels, folks booked on the second bus will be contacted first.  Also, everyone on the second bus will be contacted if we decide to do another trip to Memphis next year.

A special thanks to Maegan, Cat and everyone at Travel Machine (337) 981-7870 for putting together this exciting Memphis excursion.  When I asked them to do it up good, they far exceeded my wildest expectations.  I don't even know how we will get through Day 2, but I'm sure they will find a way.  That's why they are the BEST!
