Millions have grown up eating Kellogg's Froot Loops.  There's a secret about those colorful, sugary, circles of goodness.

Kellogg's introduced Froot Loops in September 1962.  Kellogg's says they are a variety of fruit flavors, that's why they are called 'Froot Loops'.  According to Wikipedia, originally, there were red, orange, and yellow loops, but green, purple, and blue were added during the 1990s. In the UK, Froot Loops are purple, green and orange, due to the lack of natural colorings for yellow, red and blue, and are also larger in shape.

However, there is a little secret that Kellogg's doesn't want you to know.  Even though Froot Loops are different colors, THEY ALL TASTE THE SAME!

This week on the the KTDY morning show, we did a taste test.  Even though all colors taste the same, the different colors seem to have influence on one's taste buds.
