The Vermilion River Is At Flood Stage

KTDY has been notified by representatives of the Bayou Vermilion District the river has reached flood stage. Erin Segura issued a statement that as of 10 am, Tuesday, April 14th, the river has reached 10 feet at Surrey Street, and is approaching flood stage in Carencro. The district has closed its boat launches and cancelled all tours. Citizens are being strongly urged to forgo any boating activity until further notice.
