In south Louisiana, we eat a lot of rice.  We also grow a lot of rice.  And sometimes, rice gets a bad rap.  You hear it all the time, someone on a diet who's not eating anything white.  The first thing they'll say to you is that they aren't having bread or rice.  But what about brown rice?  Is it healthier than white rice?  If you're on one of those no white foods kind of diets, can you have brown rice instead?
