The brown pelican, designated the state bird of Louisiana in 1966 is a beautiful creature.  One pelican abandoned by his flock stumbled ashore after a storm and taught by humans, how to fly.  You can catch this amazing experience through the lens of a camera mounted to the bird's beak.

The brown pelican is a symbol of Louisiana ever since the European settlers noticed it's generous and nurturing attitude.  The pelican in this video is named Bigbird.  The camera mounted to it's beak as it takes it's first flight, captures every detail.  From the wing span to the blinking of it's eyes in midair.  This is truly an amazing video.
