If you've never seen the work of the Slow Mo Guys, they record the destruction of various objects and then replay them at super - slow speeds.

In the first video, the guys show how water of a cooler temperature destroys a hot Pyrex pitcher in spectacular fashion. As if that wasn't enough, they captured the separate destruction of the pitcher's handle, this time at 343,915 frames per second, or 13,756 times slower than the human eye can see.

Because of the frame rate, the 5 seconds it took for the handle to explode takes almost 20 minutes to watch.
