Three California teenagers stole a replica of Fred Flintstone's "Flintmobile" from a Sacramento comic book store last December. It took 'til January to recover the car, and apprehend the thieves. Dave Downey, owner of World's Best Comics and Gifts decided not to press charges. Downey chose instead to make the teenagers work for him for one day, "Free Comic Book Day." The three dressed as Fred, Wilma, and Barney held signs and danced in the store's parking lot Saturday, from 10am-7pm. 17 year old Bradley told Fox 40 , "I'm glad that, instead of having a normal punishment, we can give back to them instead." Bradley was dressed as Wilma. We don't have a report on how that decision was reached.
