Teen Sings McLachlan’s “Angel”

This is Jackie Evancho, soon to be 14, and she has an angelic voice!  She was featured on the PBS series "Great Performances" with her version of Sarah McLachlan's song "Angel".

The song "Angel" is about Jonathon Melvoin's heroin overdose (which took his life, 1996).  Melvoin was a touring keyboardist with Smashing Pumpkins.

Watch as little Jackie not only sings the song, but she sounds like she is taking ownership!  An incredible version of the song!
