Teen Arrested In Sunday Shooting In Iberia Parish

18-year-old LaKeith Sam has been arrested after a shooting on Sunday in Iberi a Parish.

The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Mixon Street. The victim in the shooting sustained gunshot wounds to his lower legs and was transported to a local hospital.

Sam sits in the Iberia Parish Jail on a charge of aggravated second degree battery.
