No, you're not crazy—that new Taylor Swift song totally sounds like Right Said Fred.

Last night, Taylor Swift dropped her highly-anticipated new single "Look What You Made Do"—an uptempo pop track that had numerous Twitter users making the same comparison.

If you feel the same way about the new track, a quick dig into the song credits on iTunes will show that your ears weren't deceiving you. In addition to Taylor and her longtime song collaborator Jack Antonoff, Richard Fairbrass, Fred Fairbrass and Rob Manzoli—better known as the British pop group Right Said Fred—are also listed as co-songwriters.

Right Said Fred wrote and performed the 1991 hit "I'm Too Sexy" and since the melody of the chorus in the new Taylor jam is similar, it only makes sense for them to get credit for it. We've seen this happen recently with Ed Sheeran giving credit to TLC's "No Scrubs" on "Shape Of You" and Sam Smith giving the same nod to Tom Petty for "Stay With Me" sounding like "I Won't Back Down."

This move proves to be the best practice, especially after we saw what could happen when artists opt to ask for forgiveness instead of permission.

If anyone knows about this it would be Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams who had to pay up handsomely when a jury awarded Marvin Gaye's family $7.4 million over the similarities between Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and the Gaye's 1977 hit "Got To Give It Up."

Like the old saying goes, "better safe than sorry." Right Said Fred surely isn't complaining.
