Taylor Swift can rest easy. America's sweetheart has been granted a permanent, three-year restraining order against her alleged stalker Timothy Sweet.

Swift was granted a temporary order after it was revealed that Sweet harassed her with constant emails, letters and social media posts. Even scarier, he made threatening overtures, referring to the singer as his wife and saying he would kill anyone who interfered with their "marriage."

He also sent a chilling message which read: "If anyone in Taylor Swift’s family gets killed, it is not my fault." Yikes!

All those factors were enough for a Los Angeles judge to extend the restraining order through 2017. Sweet cannot come within 100 yards of Swift or her family, according to WENN.

Additionally, an overzealous Swift fan has been ordered to keep his distance. Daniel P. Cole, who breached security and tried to access the signer's Rhode island property in December, has been hit with a no-contact order, as well.

Poor Swift. She certainly was forced to deal with the unsavory byproducts of fame in these two instances. Thankfully, she can breathe a sigh of relief knowing they have to stay away.
