We all know that Barbie is not even close to representing a natural, or achievable feminine body image. When Mattell introduced Barbara Millicent Roberts to the public in 1959, her dimensions were such that had she been life sized, her measurements would have been 36-18- 38. Her physique has been modified over the years, but a real woman of her present dimensions would have half a liver, and nearly no intestines. She would be unable to walk, or hold her head up... sort of like a young woman with a severe eating disorder. Barbie has been blamed for a lot of that.
What if she was proportioned like a "real" woman?
