The event is the Eagle Scout Service Project of Emile Hebert of Troop 85 in Abbeville, and all proceeds from the event will benefit the Louisiana Military Hall of Fame and Museum.

In speaking with officials at the National WWII Museum today, Bentley made the realization that no group of WWII veterans had ever visited the museum via a program like the Tribute Tour.

Sunday, September 7th is the date for a giant INDOOR garage sale at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Hall, next to Morvant’s in Youngsville, starting at 7am.
Youngsville is a wonderful town to live in, and the collective patriotism is strong. Youngsville honors fallen veterans at one of their roundabouts year-round.
The servicemen and women of our country make huge sacrifices to fight battles on our behalf and keep the freedoms we hold dear. One of those sacrifices is being away from their families and loved ones for long periods of time.
