Louisiana native Thomas Hunter served in the United States Army from 1942-49. He participated in the Normandy Invasion. When Mr. hunter's military career was over, he returned home, and lived out his life as a bachelor. He passed away at the age of 93, leaving no close male relatives...

Thousands of people who've returned from war didn't come back whole. The Department of Housing & Urban Development estimates 40,000 American veterans are homeless. Something is being done about it in Kansas City...

This weekend we pay tribute and say "Thank You" to our country's military veterans.

The event will feature live music.

Carencro will host their annual Veteran’s Memorial and Patriotic Celebration on Saturday, November 10th.

Acadiana Area for Veterans is an organization that collects items to put in care packages to be delivered to veterans in our area.

The ride will culminate at Bayou Tece Brewing in Arnaudville. Entertainment includes live music by the Spearman Brothers.

The Acadiana Area for Veterans will be holding a 911 ceremony on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Parc Sans Souci.

All proceeds benefit Acadiana Area for Veterans.
