The annual International Rice Festival is October 16th-19th in Crowley. United Blood Services will hold a blood drive on Monday the 13th at the Rice Festival Building.

99.9 KTDY is once again proud to be part of the Race Against Clock Marathon Blood Drive with our friends at United Blood Services. The 2-day, 24-hour community event is scheduled or Thursday, July 10th from 7am-10pm then Friday, July 11th from 7am-4pm.

United Blood Services is badly in need of Platelets this holiday weekend. Platelets are the components that that aid clotting. They're used in the treatment of leukemia patients, cancer patients, and in heart surgeries. The current supply is dangerously low.
