I checked the PO Box last night before I headed home, and it was chocked full of registrations for the 'jeep jaunt'!!

We are gearing up for the 7th Annual 'jeep jaunt', which is coming up a week from today, and as of last night there were 656 people registered for the event!!

Toyota Motor Corporation announced on Wednesday that it will recall more than seven million vehicles to fix a power window issue that the manufacturer says could present a risk for fire.

According to a press release issued by the Japanese automaker, the voluntary recall is to inspect and apply special fluorine grease to the driver’s-side Power Window Master Switch (everyone's favorite car part) because it may become “notchy” when operated.

The Associated Press reports Toyota today announced the recall of 1.7 million cars. The recalls are mostly in Japan, but include Lexus IS and GS luxury sedans sold in North America. Ford Motor Company has risen almost to the top of an annual brand perception survey by Consumer Reports. The Detroit automaker is now just behind Toyota, after its years-long effort to improve quality coincided with devastating recalls by Toyota. A new survey by Consumer Reports places Ford just a hair behind Toyota as the top car brand.
