The Songwriters Hall of Fame has announced its 2013 induction class, and it's heavy with 70's & 80's rock icons. Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith will highlight the June 13th ceremony. Mick Jones and Lou Gramm of Foreigner will be inducted as well.

After two seasons, Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has chosen to leave his role as a judge on ‘American Idol.’ Tyler made the announcement via press release, smack dab in the middle of speculation that Charlie Sheen is up for a slot on the panel and right after Jennifer Lopez, who joined the same season as Tyler, said that she thinks it’s time for her to go. Will Randy ‘Yo! Dawg!’ Jackson be the sole judge to remain?

During an appearance on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Wednesday, ‘American Idol’ producer Nigel Lythgoe confirmed judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, and Randy Jackson would be back for season 11 of the show.

“I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of ‘American Idol’ are back for the next season,” he told Seacrest, who happens to be the aforementioned “brilliant host” of ‘Idol.’
