DOTD Announces Intermittent Lane Closures On Evangeline Thruway

LAFAYETTE, La. -- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that beginning Monday, June 10, to Friday, June 14, the center and right northbound lanes on the Evangeline Thruway, between I-10 and Pinhook Road, will have intermittent closures in order for crews to pave the road.

Public Works Director,Tom Carroll has announced Butcher Switch will be closed from Sybil Drive 1100’ west beginning Tuesday, May 8th. The road is expected to be closed for approximately three months while construction continues on the Louisiana Avenue Extension. A detour route utilizing Mary View Farm Rd will be provided.
