Without further ado, these were the most questionable and "WTF?" looks of the night.

Here's our recap of the evening's best -- and there were quite a few. It was refreshing to see so many dresses we'd sever a limb to own.

Names like Dior and Balenciaga are absent from red carpet ensembles in favor of fun, less dressy items like jeans and short dresses. The best dressed at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards were a mix of glam and casual, thanks to Selena Gomez, Emma Watson and Snooki. (Yes, Snooki).

Examples? Carrie Underwood's flower frock and Shania Twain's slutty boots -- and that's just a start.

But if you're a celebrity, forgetting to put on undergarments, getting out of cars the wrong way or having a gust of wind lift your skirt means photos of your private bits all over the interwebz. Even if you've been very, very careful not to let that happen before.

Julianne Moore disappointed yet again, while Claire Danes followed up her fiery Golden Globes frock with a big, sloppy disappointment.

Meanwhile, January Jones was trying to be fashion-forward, but fell flat. And Rose Byrne looked like a 1980s-era bridesmaid. She was the only one of the bunch who went with a totally light hue -- and even she failed epically.

It's a shame, since all of the ladies on this list are beauties in their own right. But boy did they choose the wrong dresses for this event.

We'll preface our Best Dressed lineup by saying there were a dearth of wow-inducing gowns and dresses, so nothing blew us away. The red carpet was sorely lacking in "oomph" factor and there were a lot of "meh" looks.

That said, some of country music's first ladies and more looked lovely in brightly colored dresses, so these were the best dressed of the lot.
