It's long been an insult to tell someone they do something (running, throwing, hitting) "like a girl." Young people can be particularly cruel, and insensitive.

Recent flooding in Acadiana didn't just bring out the snakes, rats and other creatures indigenous to our area, it also brought out the trash.

I guess it happened at birth, but when it comes to taste, I have none but I'm a good judge at what looks good or not.  In other words, if something looks good, I can recognize that.  If something looks bad, I can recognized that.  But to create something on my own that looks appealing, I'm useless.  That's why I need your help.

How do you feel about road closures for non-profit events like walks, rides, bicycle events, 5k races, etc?
