Customers who have regular Monday service with Allied Waste and the Recycling Foundation will receive their usual garbage and recycling service. In case you forgot, the barricades are out and will be repositioned back into parade position on the streets on Thursday, February 16, 2012. At noon today, dignitaries in Scott, Louisiana, will mark the city’s official kickoff of Carnival season there, with the raising of the Mardi Gras flag at Scott City Hall. Attendees will include Scott Mardi Gras Kings and Queens and public officials. Scott’s guaranteed family-friendly Mardi Gras parade will be on February 12, 2012.
