April 11, 2012 Governor Jindal has declared Friday 'Tarzan Day in Louisiana'. The first movie about the legendary Edgar Rice Burroughs Character was made in Louisiana. 'Tarzan Of The Apes' was shot in the Morgan City area, beginning in 1917.
April 9, 2012 I'm a resident of Lafayette, La. Yesterday, Easter Sunday, I was attending a barbecue in an area outside Lafayette. During the conversation, we briefly discussed the high cost of living in Lafayette, and how much cheaper it is to live in the smaller towns that surround the Hub City.
Property values in Wyoming are obviously quite a bit lower!
