Sophie went missing last night on West Congress, near Lafayette High School.

If you have seen Sophie, please call (337) xxxxxxx or (337) xxxxxxx.  Her owner is a little girl that had brain surgery in Houston last night, and the family doesn't want her coming home to an "empty" dog house...

A young female black lab with a collar but no tags has turned up at the post office in Scott. According to reports, the dog is well-kept and friendly, and has come back and forth to the post office in Scott for a few weeks now
