The future of high school athletics in Louisiana was in question due to the coronavirus pandemic, but today the LHSAA decided to give the go-ahead with football
Louisiana High School Athletic Association executive director Eddie Bonine says that four parishes in the state have reported having a school with football players testing positive for coronavirus.
The Louisiana High School Athletic Association held an executive meeting yesterday via Zoom and unanimously voted to allow summer football practice to begin on June 8.
Pictures and videos turned into the LHSAA have now reportedly implicated 10 Louisiana schools, including two in the Lafayette area for early practice violations.
