According to the American Pyrotechnics Association, there has been an over 90% decrease in fireworks-related injuries despite increased consumption.
But things can go very wrong very quickly and it is so important to keep your wits about you and to leave the pets inside if you're going to celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks.
Guess these folks are the reason they have to keep reminding us to be careful.
