Festival International de Louisiane has released some entertainment details for the festival, which will be held April 23-27 in downtown Lafayette!

Festival International de Louisiane and Festivals Acadiens et Creole have teamed up to create "Festival Fete de Famille", Festival Family Celebration.  The event premieres Sunday at the Blue Moon Saloon in downtown Lafayette. Did you know there's FREE shuttle service available every fifteen minutes from Cajun Field to the site of Festival International?

"Lil Nathan & The Zydeco Big Timers" will be performing at Festival International on Sunday from 5:15 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

The available variety of music, food, and art is as eclectic as ever. I downloaded the app and browsed the schedule to make some decisions about who I want to see perform.

The drop off locations for the shuttle are on the corner of Jefferson Street and Lee Ave. and a new 2nd shuttle stop will be in place for the busy Festival weekend.

Festival International is known internationally for great music, wonderful atmosphere the supporters and volunteers that keep it fun and free year after year.

For the first time in a few years, my job didn't interfere with Festival International (I usually have emceeing gigs or remote broadcasts that prevent me from enjoying the festival).  Shannon and I couldn't make it there Wednesday night, but we were there Thursday through Sunday!

My work schedule has allowed me to spend more time at Festival International this year than in recent years past, and I sure am a happy camper because of it!
