The 2012 edition of the Cajun Heartland State Fair is underway, and there's  great music in store this Saturday when Cowboy Mouth takes the stage at the Cox Grandstand. The music gets underway at 6pm with Destination Sanity. They'll be followed by Slackjaw Jane, and Cowboy Mouth brings it home.

It's Thursssssssday!  One more day till the weekend!  Today is the day Samuel F.B. Morse transmitted the message, "What hath God wrought!" from Washington to Baltimore as he formally opens America's first telegraph line.  Earth, Wind and Fire took 'Shining Star' to number 1 in 1975 and 'Thelma & Louise' is in theaters in '91.
