Irwin Allen was the king of 1960's Sci-fi TV. "Lost in Space" and "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" were his creations. America's collective imagination, including mine, was captured by the concept of space travel as we watched Redstone & Saturn rockets blast men into orbit.
A remote-controlled General Lee (the car featured on the (Dukes of Hazzard"), doing a pretty good job of recreating the car scenes from the television show.
