Those who listen to the KTDY Morning Show on Mondays, know that I have a friend from work who leaves inspirational notes in my mailbox over the weekend and I find them Monday mornings.

Every year, Debbie Ray takes winners and their guests in a limo (mammosine) to get mammograms for Breast Health Awareness Month. Today was the day!

Lane Fournerat from Youtube's LaneVids and The Funnyrats visited the KTDY morning show with CJ and Debbie Ray in an effort to join forces on the Youtube front and to have a little fun too.

This morning on the KTDY morning show, the subject of how Graceland got it's name came up.  Do you know?  It had nothing to do with Elvis.

The Polyester Power Hour on Friday mornings has been a tradition in Acadiana for nearly 20 years and for the first time, here's a look at how CJ and Debbie Ray kickoff the show in a behind the scenes look from inside the KTDY studio.

This week on the KTDY morning show, I spoke of a new snack I'm into these days, Hot Tamales and Coke. Many of you have asked is it Red Hots? Nope! Hot Tamales and Coke!

Due to the 4th of July holiday, this week's Polyester Power Hour will be on Thursday, July 3rd!

Ellie. Carlynn and Jillian from Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Super Circus Heroes visited with CJ and Debbie Ray to talk about the Pachyderm Picnic, Camp Victory and discount ticket opportunities to see the Cajundome performances.

The Eat Lafayette campaign has kicked off and CJ and Debbie Ray paid a visit to Dax on Verot School Rd. to try the 'Mama's Cajun Cheese Steak Poboy'.

OMG, this Polyester Power Hour fan almost worked the clothes right off her body while at her desk.  And she videoed the whole thing!

Today is National Bird Day so Debbie Ray thought we should get everyone who visited the KTDY studio this morning during our show should draw a picture of a bird.  Since JayCee suffers from an extreme case of ADHD, we had him draw a squirrel.  lol

KTDY has a new contest (old favorite brought back to life) and a new television commercial.  Thousand Dollar Thursday, has been an Acadiana favorite, but it had been a while since we aired it.  Well, you said show you the money and that's exactly what we're doing!

CJ and Debbie Ray welcomed two guests from the corporate offices in New York City to the KTDY studios this week. In honor of the visit, Chris from corporate serenaded listeners with his unique take on "Killing Me Softly," a Roberta Flack song covered by rap group The Fugees in the 90's...

As I was trying to figure out the settings on the new KTDY channel on Youtube, I found vintage audio and behind the scenes video from September 24th, 2008.  It doesn't seem like that long ago, but things looked a lot different, including Debbie Ray and me.

Today, immediately after the KTDY morning show ended at 10AM, Debbie Ray stormed out the control room as though a bolt of lightning had struck her from behind, the reason, outlined in an email, had co-host CJ not feeling the love.

The Polyester Power Hour (PPH) party 2014 is over, but memories were made and if you were lucky enough to get a Poly Po Ho shirt, you now have a collector's item.  See these shirts being made behind the scenes at Action Specialties.

The Polyester Power Hour (PPH) show on KTDY, an all request retro feature on the morning show that embodies 70s and 80s music (except during an anything goes version), continues to be the number one rated show in the market Monday through Friday consistently now for almost 18 years.  But it was almost canceled.

Friday February 14th is Valentine's Day but it's also the day we will spotlight songs that talk about love on the Polyester Power Hour (PPH).  What songs should we spotlight?
