6:55 AM ET:  The AP is reporting that the suspects are from Chechnya, and have lived in the US for at least one year. The surviving Boston bomb suspect has been identified as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, of Cambridge, Ma. NBC News is reporting that both suspects are brothers. The FBI held a press conference moments ago, and released video images of two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing case.

The show must go on. I've heard it said hundreds (if not thousands) of times: during and after Katrina and Rita; after the Twin Towers fell; after Sandy Hook; after Mickey Shunick; after the death of my mother; and, now, after the Boston Marathon bombings.

By now you have probably seen this man's face.  He is all over the internet, and is being called a hero. Carlos Arrendondo was attending the Boston Marathon in support of a runner who was running in memory of Arrendondo's son, a Marine who was killed in the Iraq war...

This meme shows people around the world pronouncing a list of words and answering questions. I couldn't find a single one from Lafayette, so I did one.  It's pretty amusing to hear all the different dialects. I selected a few places and pared them down to the list below- some of these people went on forever before they actually got to the words and the questions.
