After two seasons, Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has chosen to leave his role as a judge on ‘American Idol.’ Tyler made the announcement via press release, smack dab in the middle of speculation that Charlie Sheen is up for a slot on the panel and right after Jennifer Lopez, who joined the same season as Tyler, said that she thinks it’s time for her to go.
