Though she put on an impeccable show Wednesday night, America ultimately decided they didn't want to see Haley Reinhart in the next week's finals. The 20-year-old Wheeling, IL, native was booted from 'American Idol' late Thursday night, leaving Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina to battle it out for the season 10 crown.

'American Idol' season 10 is officially down to the final three. Over 72 million votes were cast this week, making it the highest top-four vote ever in the history of the show. Unfortunately, even record-breaking numbers weren't enough to save James Durbin. It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of American Idol.  Well, after hearing James Durbin sing "Maybe I'm Amazed" on last night's show, it made me want to listen to the first version of that song I ever heard, and the best version.  While I was digging around the internet, I found an amazing version of the Star Spangled Banner by James Durbin recorded in 2009.

American Idol Adds Online Voting For Viewers “American Idol” is taking voting online. Viewers will be able to cast votes through Facebook, along with the previous options of phone and text message, when the contest shifts from judges’ to audience’s choice next Tuesday.

The contestants on American Idol will sing Beatles songs this week. There are so many great songs to choose from, but which one suits Lafayette's Jacee Badeaux?  Keep reading to take a look at a few that I hope he considers. What do you think?
