According to Lafayette Police, the 34-year-old female victim, who suffered minor injuries during the incident, says she got out of her vehicle, felt someone tap her on the shoulder and was told “Give me that.” She says a black male suspect wearing a black hooded sweatshirt then forcefully pulled the purse from her and ran away.

Police say another black male wearing a white muscle shirt was with him, and they both ran to a convenience store and fled in a vehicle with three other black males. The suspect’s vehicle is a gold older model Honda Accord with a sunroof and missing the front bumper.
