Sunday Is Clean Out Your Freezer Day

The annual Hunters for the Hungry food drive is this  Sunday, September 23^th from 10AM to 3PM. I'll be broadcasting live from the Cajun Field location from 10am-Noon.

You're encouraged to “clean out your freezers” and donate frozen processed game and fish from the 2011 season.

There will be multiple Collection Sites around Acadiana

In LAFAYETTE –  ULL Cajun Field, NEW IBERIA – ZBEST CARS,  Carencro Fire Station,        CROWLEY – Salvador’s Jewelry & Gifts, Eunice Fire Department, JENNINGS – Our Savior’s Church, Nissan of Opelousas, YOUNGSVILLE – First Assembly of God Church (Verot School Rd)

Your donation is tax deductible and will be used to feed the needy through the Opelousas Lighthouse Mission’s shelter.

Last year’s drive collected over 8,000 lbs. of food, providing 24,000 meals.
