We all love going to concerts, but did you know apparently it's good for us? A recent study claims frequently enjoying live music can add up to nine years to your life.

Consequenceofsound.com says a recent study released by O2 and behavioral science expert Patrick Fagan claims regular concert attendance can help you live longer...up to nine years longer.

Why? The logic behind this is that attending concerts improves "self-worth, closeness to others, and, especially, mental stimulation." All of this contributes to someone's sense of well-being, and research shows that a good sense of well-being can increase life expectancy up to nine years.

Now, O2 is a concert venue so information like this is obviously in their best interest, but as Consequenceofsound.com points out, scientist have done research like this before and come to the same conclusion.

Luckily for us in Acadiana, we've got live music everywhere we turn!

Go see more live music, Doctors orders.
