Strong Winds Cause Garbage Carts to Blow Over in Lafayette

The strong wind this morning is knocking over the automated garbage carts used by Lafayette residents. Allied apologizes for the inconvenience, but for safety reasons, they cannot have the single person on each automated garbage truck getting out to right garbage carts. 

Lafayette Consolidated Government Environmental Services says, "If you are a Thursday garbage customer and your cart was blown over,  Allied Waste will go back to service your garbage cart if you cannot wait until next week, and next week Lafayette residents may place bagged excess garbage on the ground for collection as part of their regular holiday service."
