ATLANTA, GA - Headed to a convention in California, students from Barbizon Modeling School in Atlanta relax in the baggage claim area of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport after the big snow storm in Atlanta, Georgia.  Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue declared a state of emergency because of snowfall and ice across Atlanta and Georgia. A winter storm has stretched across the Southeast as freezing rain and sleet followed heavy snow that blanketed the region. The students from Barbizon had all their possible flights cancelled to Los Angeles and had been at the airport for more than 24 hours waiting for a flight.  Airtran & Delta cancelled all flights out of Atlanta due to icy and snowy weather conditions.
