Stir The Pot Festival At Palmetto Island State Park

The 5th Annual Stir the Pot Seafood Cook-Off and Festival is coming to Palmetto Island State Park in April!

Saturday, April 11, at 10am, the gates will open for the cook-off and festival.  For a $5 donation, it's all-you-care-to-sample (while supplies last)!  Kids under 3 years of age get in free, and there will be lots going on for all ages!  Of course, great food, a live auction, natural/recycled arts & crafts, music from Dustin Sonnier and Jamie Bergeron & the Kickin' Cajuns!

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Palmetto Island State Park. Organizers ask that there be no pets, golf carts or ice chests.

**Traffic reminder:  The Vermilion River Bridge at Highway 82 in Perry is closed for repair, so you will need to detour.
