Ashton Kutcher has been a principal character in two TV shows that stuck around for too long. I loved "That 70's Show." The producers should have wrapped it up after the departures of Topher Grace, and Kutcher. No Eric Foreman? No Kelso? Why are these kids hanging around in Red & Kitty's basement?. "Two and a Half Men" was a continual source of gut splitting laughter for 8 years. Then it became a different show. The public feud between Charlie Sheen and the show's creator Chuck Lorre' ended an era in Television comedy. The first season with Ashton Kutcher was funny, but central characters were gradually phased out, and it became a totally different show. Alan's on again off again relationship with Lindsey became excruciating. Charlies' slutty lesbian daughter was comical, but not enough. When previews hinted Charlie might still be alive, my curiosity was piqued about what kind of came he'd make. The final scene was just mean spirited. Bottom line: there were funny moments, but it was anti-climactic, and disappointing.
