George Harrison would have been 72 today. He passed away from throat cancer on November 29th, 2001. I've never understood why people who sing for a living smoke...But, I digress. George was part of my all time favorite rock band. I remember watching the Beatles perform on The Ed Sullivan Show  before I was born. It was a life changing experience. When I got my first CD player, my wife presented me copies of "A Hard Day's Night" and George's "Cloud 9." Earthcam has set up live streaming at the intersection on Abbey Road where the famous album cover was shot. A couple Christmases ago, my daughter, Stephanie surprised me with the CD package of George's historic "Concert for Bangladesh." She knows the way to Daddy's heart. I decided to share a few of my favorites...

"Something" from Abbey Road"

"Here Comes the Sun" from "Abbey Road"

"My Sweet Lord" from "All Things Must Pass"

"While My Guitar Gently Weeps," featuring Ringo Starr, Elton John, Phil Collins, and Eric Clapton
