Star Trek Returns To TV With Star Trek: Discovery

Details about the seventh Star Trek series were revealed during this weekend's San Diego Comic Con.

The new series is Star Trek Discovery, set on the U.S.S. Discovery. Unlike the new movies, this series will be set in the original Star Trek universe at some point before the original Star Trek series.

The first episode of Star Trek Discovery will debut on CBS in January, but you'll have to subscribe to CBS All Access to watch the entire series. More information is expected to be released at New York Comic Con in October.
