It looks like spring is finally here, after one of the craziest winters ever seen in South Louisiana. It's a time of renewal, out with the old, and in with the new. That, unfortunately, means spring cleaning. The Dallas Morning News has some tips to make it easier, like do your windows on a cloudy day, using a mixture of vinegar & water. When cleaning ceiling fans, use a pillow case. See more tips here.
Our culture seems to have developed the attitude that everything's disposasble, including people. Don't throw it away, donate it. When clearing old clothes out of that closet, you can make a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation to Goodwill, the Salvation Army, or Arc of Acadiana. I recently got new eyeglasses, and donated my old ones to OneSight. They gave me a receipt for a $200.00 donation.  There are organizations that will take an old car, running or not. I've done that before, got a big tax refund. I think I'll try the pillowcase thing. I'll let you know how it turns out.
