Special Things Happen At Downtown Alive And Festival International! [Video]

I love living in Lafayette. There's just "something in the air." There's a a vibe, a spiritual energy to this community. A couple years ago, I got a Facebook message from a woman named Vanessa. She was inquiring about a picture I'd taken at Festival International in 2013. It's the photo above. She said it was the first photo anyone had taken of her and her boyfriend, David. She asked if I'd share it. David later reached out to say he was going to propose. He asked if I could arrange to do it during a break at Downtown Alive with the Marshall Tucker Band. I contacted my friend, Kate Durio, with Downtown Lafayette Unlimited. Here's what happened....
