Southern Living ‘Tastiest Town’ Contest Winding Down

This should be a piece of cake for us! In late December, Southern Living magazine named the Top 10 'Tastiest Towns in the South,'a roundup of the most delicious destinations across the region. Readers will determine the winning town in an online vote at southernliving.com/tasty.

To keep the announcement of the winner a surprise, the tally was removed at midnight EST on Tuesday, January 24^th. The winning town will be revealed in the April issue of Southern Living, on newsstands March 23^rd. Our biggest competition, as of today, is Louisville, Kentucky. Online voting remains open until Tuesday, January 31^st at 11:59PM EST. One vote per day is counted toward the final tally. To celebrate the many hometown flavors and distinctive regional cuisines across the South, Southern Living will profile each of the “10 Tastiest Towns in the South” and feature signature recipes from each town in the April issue. The public can enter for a chance to win a $2,500 trip to the Tastiest Town of their choice until Monday, April 30, 2012, 11:59 EST.
