So Much For An All Manning Superbowl. So much for my "expertise", too! A couple weeks ago, it was apparent that my beloved New Orleans Saints weren't going to make the playoffs. No Home Superbowl.

Next best scenario, an All Manning Superbowl in Nola. Yesterdays reenactment of Superbowl XXXV between the New York Giants and Baltimore Ravens squashed that.  I had the Giants touted as the best bet to derail a potential Superbowl run by the much hated Atlanta Falcons, and said so on this website. Pardon me while I wipe the egg off my face.

The NFC playoff picture isn't very appealing to me. The best thing I'm hoping for now is for somebody, ANYBODY to keep the Falcons from reaching Superbowl XLVII in New Orleans. Will it be San Francisco? They got dismantled last night in Seattle. Minnesota? Washington? (GGrrrr), How about Green Bay? My Mom sent me some real good Swiss Cheese this weekend.......
