Do you snore?  Do you sleep with someone who does?  Does it drive you crazy?  Do you drive someone else crazy?  Here are 6 things you and/or your significant other can do to stop snoring without wearing awkward devices, taking meds or even resorting to surgery.

The first thing you can start doing immediately is to sing along with the radio.  People who sing a lot are less likely to snore.  Singing will strengthen your throat muscles and help you beat snoring.

Sleep on your side.  You are less likely to snore if you sleep on your side.  Studies suggests sewing a tennis ball into the back of the shirt you wear to bed.  The reason for this is simple, if you turn onto your back, you won't stay in that position and will force you to turn on your side or stomach.

Like any other muscle in your body, you can exercise your tongue.  Try to touch your chin and nose with your tongue.

Prob up you head.  Try pillows, however they probably won't stay in place all night.  You may want to try putting something under your mattress.

Make sure your bedroom is clean.  Allergies can make snoring worse.

Fluid can build up in your lower legs during the day.  Studies show that, that fluid can flow to your neck area at night.  This will cause you to snore.  Wearing compression socks during the day will stop this process.
