When couples take the beloved oath of matrimony, should the 'I Do' mean forever? I think most of you would say yes.  And you're not alone.

The finding in a Clark University poll found that Most young adults expect marriage to last a lifetime. 86% of Americans age 18 to 29 expect their vows to hold strong. This was surprising especially since most young adults know that half of all marriages fail.

57% feel it is wrong for a couple to engage under the sheets if they are not emotionally connected.

73% of the respondents believe the wedding should happen before bringing a child into the world.

The study also revealed that 61% of young American adults expect to give up some of their career goals in order to have the family life they want.
